Summary:
Requires guardians appointed by the court to receive a home visit within 30 days of their appointment to verify the safety and adequacy of the home for a child.
The House amended the bill to require a home safety visit within 60 days. The home safety visit may be waived if the parent or parents give consent of the guardianship. The cost of the visit shall be paid for by the guardian.
