Study due process for disciplinary proceedings at public colleges

Establishes certain due process rights for students, student organizations, and faculty members facing disciplinary actions by state institutions of higher learning. For example, this bill creates a right to a hearing on the allegations with an opportunity to cross-examine witnesses.
The Senate rewrote the bill to instead establish a commission to study due process in higher education disciplinary proceedings.
The House and Senate did not agree on a final version of the bill.
