HB 563 (2025)
Increase base per-pupil state school funding, adjust calculation
This bill is still active.
Last updated 2025-12-04 6:35 pm
Summary:
Slightly increases the per-pupil amount of state education funding. This bill then creates three categories for additional special education funding, depending on how many services the student needs.
The House rewrote the bill. The new bill removes the special categories of special education funding, and makes several other changes to the calculation of per-pupil state school funding without changing the overall statewide property tax system.
