Summary:
Designates Coos County as a "distressed place-based economy" and requires commissioners of state agencies to consult with county commissioners before making regulatory decisions that would affect Coos County.
The House amended the bill to add the substance of HB 707. That bill requires the Department of Environmental Services to revise rules for new landfills to ensure adequate distance from water.
