Requires schools to have engaged the services of an owner's project manager at the time they apply for school building aid for construction or renovations projects of $1 million or more. The Senate added also added the substance of this bill to HB 506.
The House amended the bill so that schools are required to engage the services of an owner’s project manager for projects $1,250,000 or more.
The House then added the substance of HB 733. That bill regulates consumer litigation funding contracts, when a funder agrees to cover an individual's legal costs in return for a portion of funds from any successful legal settlement.
