SB 36 (2025)
Revise abortion data reporting requirement
This bill is still active.
Requires health care providers to report non-personally identifiable data about abortions to the Department of Health and Human Services (such as patient age, gestational age, etc.). This bill requires an annual report of this data to the legislature.
The Senate added the text of this bill to HB 712.
Since HB 712 was signed into law by the governor, the House then rewrote this bill. The new bill revises the data reporting requirements on abortion so that providers must report gestational age, not "estimated" gestational age.
