Summary:
Directs the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to submit an amendment to the state Medicaid plan to provide reimbursement for ambulance services when care is provided without the patient being transported to another site.
The House amended the bill to also send $500,000 to DHHS to fund recreational activities for individuals with developmental disabilities, similar to HB 1593.
