Summary:
Directs the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to construct an 18-bed secure treatment facility to replace the Sununu Youth Services Center, and sets aside funds for the project.
The House rewrote the bill. The new bill directs DHHS to construct a 6-bed secure treatment facility to replace the Sununu Youth Services Center.
The rewritten bill also incorporates text from HB 254, which limits the circumstances in which minor can be held in the Sununu Youth Services Center (generally only for violent offenses).
