SB 665 (2026)

Revise requirements for PBMs, require efforts to notify consumers of right to request lowest price for prescription drugs

This bill did not become law.

Last updated 2026-06-14 3:50 am
Summary:

Requires pharmacies to inform and charge consumers the lowest available price for prescription drugs.

The Senate amended the bill to create detailed agreement, reporting, and examination requirements for pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). The amended bill still requires pharmacies to "make efforts" to notify consumers of their right to request the lowest available price for prescription drugs. The Senate added that last part of the bill to HB 1584.
