Brian Cole is a two-term Republican state representative from Manchester’s Ward 7, serving on the House Commerce Committee and formerly chairing the Manchester Republican Committee. He runs JC International, a Manchester-based wholesaler. In his announcement, he said he wants to lower the cost of living, secure the border, and rebuild New Hampshire's industrial base. “Under President Trump’s leadership, America’s officially back,” Cole said in his announcement, adding, “We need allies in Washington who won’t fold under pressure,” and pledging to prioritize “family, faith, and freedom” in Congress.

At a 2026 WMUR debate Rep. Cole said, "Actually, I owned a wholesale company. That was my career here in New Hampshire, and Trump's first term, I had ocean containers on the water, and he increased the tariffs by 25%. What the general public needs to know, by the time it goes through the chain, those tariffs aren't 25%, maybe like a three to five percent increase in prices here. So I have a problem with the extra tariffs that he put on Canada. I'm on the New Hampshire Canadian Trade Council, and the extra tariffs they put on Canada are straining our relations with them."
