On the 2024 Granite State Taxpayers Survey, Farrington answered "Yes" to the question, "Do you support additional school choice options?" He added, "Parents should be empowered to make decisions for their children's education. Spending does not equal success. More options will lead to more competition and better outcomes. UNIVERSAL SCHOOL CHOICE!"

Voted for several bills that would revise New Hampshire's anti-discrimination law to allow segregation based on biological sex in some settings, including HB 1217, HB 1299, HB 1442, HB 1447, SB 268, and SB 552.

On the 2024 Granite State Taxpayers Survey, Farrington answered "Yes" to the question, "Will you oppose any income or sales tax, or any increase in the overall tax burden in New Hampshire?" He added, "There is no need for further taxation because we have proven to generate sufficient revenue while letting workers keep their earned income. Taxation is theft."

On the 2024 Granite State Taxpayers Survey, Farrington answered "Yes" to the question, "Will you support reducing business taxes and regulations to encourage economic development and business retention?" He added, "We should continue to reduce the BET and BPT for these reasons. Lower taxes will allow businesses to invest in the long run. In return, profits will increase, and the state may even collect more revenue."

Voted to limit parking requirements in zoning laws (SB 284) and voted to prohibit planning boards from differentiating based on the number of bedrooms in a residential development (SB 174).

On the 2024 Granite State Taxpayers Survey, Farrington indicated support for the statement, "Will you support actions that decrease electricity rates, and oppose any actions that will increase them, including expanded alternative energy mandates?" He added, "The free market must be the only option. Green mandates will only increase costs."

In 2025 Farrington voted against increasing net energy metering eligibility (SB 228).

In 2025 and 2026 Rep. Farrington voted against increasing base per-pupil state school funding (HB 651 and HB 1826). Rep. Farrington then voted to establish a tax cap for local school districts (HB 675). Rep. Farrington also voted against HB 1799, which would have redefined an "adequate education," increased how much funding the state must provide per pupil, and created a commission to study alternative methods of funding public schools besides property taxes. Lastly, Rep. Farrington voted for HB 1815, which pushes back against New Hampshire Supreme Court rulings on what the state must fund for an adequate education.
