Running for: US Senate

Scott Brown, a former U.S. Senator from Massachusetts and U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand, is mounting a political comeback in New Hampshire. “I’m running for the United States Senate to restore common sense, keep our border secure, and fight for our New Hampshire values,” Brown said. He previously ran for Senate in New Hampshire in 2014 but lost to Jeanne Shaheen.

At a 2026 debate with John Sununu, Scott Brown said, "You know, it's really a no brainer. You have these baby factories that are in Texas and other parts near the border, and they're just coming over and they're having a baby. Oh, I'm a citizen. they're entitled to all the rights and privileges that everyone else gets, that people who have been here have earned it and respectfully, what Joe Biden did, what Joe Biden did, letting all these people in here illegally, number one, to, we don't know who they are, we don't know where they are, and what President Trump. Doing to try to get them out is completely appropriate. John's right. The Supreme Court will make that decision. I went back and I looked at some of the legislative history, and it was never intended for this type of thing to bring people here, have a baby, get a citizenship, and get all the rights and privileges of US citizens. So I'm hopeful that they make the right decision. If they do not, I will lead the charge as a US Senator to make sure that we do not allow that."

At a debate with John Sununu, Scott Brown said, "Well, first of all, what the leadership in the Senate is doing is abhorrent. They're not adhering to what the President thinks is appropriate, what I think is appropriate, and I'm sure what John thinks is appropriate and everyone here who agrees that we should pass the SAVE Act, raise your hand. I mean it's a no brainer and that's what the problem is. There was a question asked about Congress, you know, what would you do to make them more effective? Well, when they don't do their jobs they shouldn't get paid. When they don't pass a budget and they don't fund the agencies and they go away on vacation for months and months and months they shouldn't get paid. Let's start with that. ... I will make sure that I will stay there and do my job and I will continue to push the SAVE Act and every other effort to get our citizens knowing when they walk into an election and they walk into the booth that the people next to them are citizens and they are authorized to vote."

At a 2026 candidate debate Scott Brown said, "I love what [President Trump]'s doing with with Iran. John and Chris said that he shouldn't have gone forward. He just said it on Close up the other day. Shouldn't have gone forward at all. So to have a new, a nuclear weapon, Iran with a nuclear weapon is going to be problematic."
