Sky Danley announced his campaign in Portsmouth and referenced the Declaration of Independence. He wrote in his announcement, "I am running in this contest as a ‘rebirth’ republican, meaning my core beliefs are those that align with the birth of the republican party, namely, standing firm with the Constitution, not with the defiled, cultist, selfishly corrupt party beliefs that now drag this country into darkness."
