Limit foster home immunization requirements, modify Medicare

Summary:

Prohibits the state from imposing vaccination requirements on foster children or parents that exceed the standard requirements applied to school children.

The Senate amended the bill to also remove the resource limit for the Medicare savings program and, subject to federal approval, make the low income subsidy for Medicare Part D available to residents to assist with prescription drug costs.
