Allow contact information in child abuse reports, criminalize malicious reports
This bill did not become law.
Allows a report of child abuse or neglect to include the name and contact information of the person making the report. This bill then makes it a misdemeanor to intentionally make false reports of child abuse and neglect "with malice or the intent to harm."
The Senate amended the bill to remove the requirement of "malice or the intent to harm."
The Senate then added the substance of SB 182, SB 150, SB 186, and SB 200 to this bill.
SB 182 revises the Maternal Mortality Review Panel and related laws.
SB 150 defines "electric vehicle charging station" and sets a fee for annual testing by the Division of Weights and Measures.
SB 186 authorizes the joint legislative historical committee to accept a gift of a portrait of Senator Jeb Bradley.
SB 200 authorizes the Joint Legislative Historical Committee to accept a portrait of Sylvia Larsen.
A conference committee of representatives and senators failed to agree on a final version of this bill.
