Summary:
Establishes a retirement system benefit for firefighters and law enforcement who retire due to a violent act injury. The Senate also added this text to HB 185, HB 1559, and HB 2024.
The House amended the bill to add back the text of HB 1620, a bill killed in the Senate. HB 1620 suspends new landfill permits until 2028. The Senate rejected this change, killing the bill again.
